From : Natalia Finfando on her 2nd trip to the Gambia on behalf of our charity in April 2013

Dear Stephanie and Alan,
What a great trip I have had! It was the best 12 days ever and I still have had no chance to rest or relax! I am buzzing as it has been such a wonderful experience. I am sure you know exactly what I am talking about.
Pa Louis has been great and I learnt a lot from him. He took care of us and explained your projects in detail. Sittanunku and its people were certainly one of the biggest highlights. Boy, how wonderful the people were. Both kids and grown ups were the most welcoming and charming people. My friend Fatima was in a flood of tears when we met them. Bless them all.

I also really enjoyed finding out how you make your projects possible. I admire your passion but also your wisdom, I think it is done exactly how it should be done in the Gambia.

Most of all though, I would like to say thank you for trusting me and allowing me to work with your school as well as donating the gifts for my sponsored kids. As you can see in the pictures, they were over the moon. Thank you on their behalf. A lot.

Being myself, I am already planning for the future. So what is next?
– I have donated £200 to either Sittanunku or your future projects
– I have discussed with Pa a possible funding that is available for schools in the Gambia from British Council. I am currently trailing the project and, if successful, I would like to help you with it for your schools as well!
– I will be in the Gambia twice within this/next year. Please use me! I can deliver various workshops for your schools in the future.
– Please consider my driver if you ever need anyone to help you to move around the Gambia. He is a very kind, reliable and humble person. He charges very little as he knows our work is for charity. It’s Abdoulie Sannah and he is one of my Facebook friends.
– My friend Magda is currently staying in the Gambia. She decided to volunteer in a local school but she still has lots of time available on her hands. She would love to help Pa with whatever is needed.

That’s it for now! I know it is a lot but hey, a lot happened!
My heart belongs fully not only to the Gambia but to Karmic Angels now. xxx
